Second Field Trip - Critcism of an Advanced Teacher

After we had to create our teaching sequence, it was our task to present it to an experienced teacher of the English language to let him evaluate our idea and to let him judge whether it is possible to realize in the language classroom and if it is, what kind of problems could appear by realizing it.
Here the review of my teaching sequence is provided to you.

Positive Feedback

• This idea is interesting and motivating for students.
• There is a big need for knowledge of vocabulary to write own texts.
• The teacher has to check whether his students can cope with writing own texts -> use of dictionaries

Criticism

• Such an idea is only suitable for Gymnasium from grade 9 on.
• Texts have to be corrected by teachers before they are published
• It will be more easily to realise in small courses because of the higher care of teacher.
