My E-Portfolio

Dear visitor,

welcome to my e-portfolio about the use of the so called new media in the foreign language education. These pages will give you an overview about the activities and tasks I had to deal with while I participated in the course New Media in the Foreign Language Education at my university.

The idea of the course was to give students of the English language who want to become teacher information about many different web tools and to improve their skills to use them in the language classroom.

As you will see by exploring this portfolio, we had to handle different tasks which were generated to get familiar with a lot of internet tools. The picture you see on the right upper corner of this page and which you will see on every other page of this piece of work, is the result of our first in class session. It is composed of key words we had to find, which would describe our expectations for the course. The bigger the word in this composition is, the more often it was mentioned by the students. The tool which was used to create this picture is called wordle.net.
